The Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel/Nubuck & Suede Proof is the first step in boot maintenance, which is regular cleaning. From Nikwax comes this cleaning gel in a simple-to-use sponge-topped bottle that can be used on nubuck, suede and smooth leather as well as fabric and leather combination footwear.
The Nikwax Nubuck and Suede Leather Proofer is a waterproofing treatment that can be applied by spray or sponge to boost the efficiency of footwear or fabrics. The proofer sprays on a Durable Water Repellent Treatment that causes water to "bead out" rather than soak into the material. As always, the treatment is completely environmentally friendly.

• Footwear Cleaning Gel 125ml and Nubuck & Suede Proof 125ml packaged together to safely clean and waterproof nubuck, suede and textured leather footwear
• Footwear Cleaning Gel: High-performance sponge-on cleaner for full-grain leather, suede, nubuck, and synthetic footwear. Maintains existing water repellency (DWR)
• Nubuck & Suede Proof: High-performance spray-on waterproofer designed to add water repellency and maintain the texture and breathability of nubuck and suede footwear
• All items must first be cleaned with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel before waterproofing. Household cleaners leave behind water-attracting residues.
• Recommended for use on all nubuck, suede, textured leather shoes, coats, and gloves; safe for GORE-TEX
• Nikwax products are PFAS-free, water-based, non-persistent, and contain no optical brighteners or added scent. Aerosol-free spray and non-flammable.
• Please note: Nubuck and Suede Proof needs to be applied to a clean, damp item. Due to its absorbent nature, adding a water-based product to sheepskin can potentially cause a colour change. Please test the product on a discreet location of the item to see results before application.
