Gore-Tex Infinium/Windstopper will keep a chill wind at bay and overs considerable water resistance. If its really cold you can unpop the ear flaps for extra coverage or keep them popped up when not needed.
The triple fold peak makes the Higgor cap easy to stuff in your pack or pocket, ready and waiting for when the weather turns. The soft fleece lining is warm and comfortable.
